Mr. Siddhartha Dave, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that in accordance with the judgment of this court titled “Anju Mukhi & Anr. vs. Satish K. Bhatia & Ors. reported in 2010 (15) SCC 630, the first respondent cannot be treated as a dependent of the deceased after re-marriage.

In the peculiar facts and circumstances of this case, we are not inclined to interfere in this matter. The Special Leave Petition is dismissed accordingly. Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
