(A)Constitution of India, Art.12 - Kerala Co-operative Societies Act (21 of 1969), S.9, S.27, S.28 - State Co-operative societies - Are not statutory bodies - But are body corporate - Supervised and regulated by authorities under Act - Final authority of society vests in general body and
not in Registrar, Co-operative societies - Cannot be said that State has direct or indirect control over affairs of society - Co-operative societies thus are not State.
